Clark County Manager Yolanda King Receives Humanitarian Award

Junior League of Las Vegas honored Clark County Manager Yolanda King with the Florence Lee Jones Humanitarian Award at its Annual Paint The Town Red Gala. The award is presented to individuals who have made significant and long-lasting contributions that impact humanity. King has been with the County for more than 30 years, moving through the ranks while working in Finance before being named County Manager. In her lead role, she manages the largest government agency in Clark County with oversight of a $6.5 billion budget, 38 departments and more than 10,000 employees who respond to the valley’s 2.3 million residents and the more than 45 million visitors who travel to Las Vegas each year. Junior League of Las Vegas is a nonprofit organization for women who are committed to volunteering while developing the potential all women have and improving the community through effective action and leadership.
