Clark County Commissioner William McCurdy II, City of Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman, Councilwoman Olivia Diaz, representatives with Neighborhood Housing Services of Southern Nevada (NHSSN) and builders shoveled dirt recently to mark the start of construction on affordable housing project for low-to-moderate income seniors in the east valley. The Golden Rule Senior Apartments will consist of 60 units and is expected to be ready in 2023. Partners on board to make this project happen include Boston Financial Investment Management company, Chase Bank, Clark County Community Resource Management and the City of Las Vegas. Clark County earmarked $600,000 to support this venture.
