The MSG Sphere, set to open in the second half of 2023 behind the Palazzo and Venetian hotels, is described as "next generation." Developer Nick Tomasino, vice president for Madison Square Garden, says it is unlike any other entertainment venue boasting 20,000 seats inside the 366 foot-tall spherical structure. Inside the venue, patrons will enjoy concerts and customized viewing entertainment experiences on LED screens from inside 23 private suites, 17,500 general seats and space accommodating standing room only areas.
