Many insect species including bees, butterflies, flies, wasps, and others, are facing multiple threats in the western United States. These threats include urbanization, pesticide use, light pollution, and others. This video provides three easy ways for you to protect your local pollinator populations- plant native plants, reduce pesticide use whenever possible, and reduce light pollution at night- and offers suggestions to help accomplish these goals.
